Research Intern

This internship offers the opportunity to develop novel spectroscopic applications for food ingredient-related quality measurements. You will report to the Chief Scientist, and work closely with other colleagues supporting the experimental work and subsequent data analyses.

Be involved in creating a best-in-class SaaS platform to revolutionise the food-tech industry.

Job Description:

  • Developmental work using Raman spectroscopy
  • Initial exploration of spectroscopic measurements for selected food ingredient compounds
  • Performing optimal measurements for targeted compounds suited for subsequent data analyses
  • Technical communications of research findings


Potential applicants should have science or engineering background at tertiary education level, with knowledge in chemistry, food, or related sciences. Demonstration of scientific curiosity, keenness to learn and relevant lab work experience are an added bonus.

The minimum duration of this internship is 3 months, and longer internship periods are preferred.
