Solution
We partnered with their quality team to address their specific concern: detecting maltodextrin and chicory adulteration. Together, we built a custom AI model that distinguishes between pure instant coffee and coffee mixed with these adulterants at concentrations ranging from 0-60%.
ProfilePrint achieved 96% agreement with lab results in identifying the type and level of adulteration, which was well above their 90% success threshold. Ambiguous samples were sent for traditional lab analysis, and these results were then fed back to refine the model, making it even more reliable over time.
